Got our beds cleaned out and mulched and new flowers bought and in planters. What a good way to spend a Sunday.

First caprese pasta salad of the summer like season.  The fact that we can get fresh tomatoes and basil.... tis the season.

Things are beginning to grow.

We've only been trying to grow asparagus for 3 years.  It seems like we get the same 6 skinny, tiny stalks, but still, it's exciting when it shows up each year.

The strawberry plants have flowers and are ready for action!  

Didn't have my zoom lens on at the time this owl showed up.  Boy are the dogs a fan of him.

Welcome home. Had a lovely Sunday at home working ourselves back in to reality.  The views aren't mountains but our piece of paradise is beautiful and full of love.

This morning as we went in to the lobby of the lodge to check out, the owners told us to come out on the main deck and there were two moose who were hanging out in the back munching on berries.  This was the one thing I had wanted to see on our trip that we didn't get to.  What a way to end an amazing vacation.  So grateful for all the beauty and memories that we were able to share on our trip. It also helped us refocus on what's important in our lives and how we want to engage with this beautiful world.

Project 365 Day 327

Yesterday was spent in the morning at Dinosaur Ridge, a hiking trail that has exhibits throughout that have Dinosaur bones, footprints, and explanations of all the rock formations that formed the area.  My big science nerd was in heaven.  It also gave us stunning views of Red Rocks.  We spent the afternoon and evening shopping and eating in Boulder and then I got some gorgeous views of one final sunset from our little mountain getaway.
