I've had a really annoying cold this weekend so couldn't go on a trip I had planned, but managed to be outside briefly on such a beautiful winter day.  Clearly the wildlife and plants think it's spring.

So I signed up for this camera class through our local camera store....and then I got sick....and  then I still felt like I needed to go because I paid for the class.  So I went.  I'm really glad I did.  There was a lot of great information, but not all necessarily used in a way that reflects my learning style.  But the hope is I can use the handouts and pictures and do some more focused practicing before our vacation to Colorado in April.  Also P.S. I HAAAAAVE to start posting pictures every day or I will never finish this year (ish) of pictures.  I'm determined to take the rest of them on my real camera too.  Here we go.  So please enjoy these photos of random objects of my technique practice from the camera class.   #noedits :)  xoxo

Had a WONDERFUL time in Lawrence watching KU basketball. In the grand scheme of things not a big deal, but it was so much fun to celebrate the players, tradition and spirit of this place. My husband gives amazing gifts and was the ultimate sport and perhaps even enjoyed the game.

Let the dogs outside and saw the beautiful moon.  One of these days I'll actually have a class I can take that matches up with my location and schedule so I can really learn how to do this, but for now this is what you get.
