So I've given you all a month to recover from the 365 project and now I'm back at it. We switched computer systems at home so it's taken me a bit to get my editing back up and running but here I am. Not sure what form the blog will take now, but for this week.....a visit from Sheldon's girlfriend Hazel May, a trip to Kansas, butterflies at my mom's house, and a beautiful Missouri sunset. xoxo
My crazy happy life

Project 365 Day.......what the what? 365!!!!!
I've reached the FINAL post in this 365 series. Of course it hasn't actually been 365 days....its been 365 photo days....those are like dog years or something. Its been 514 days. I started this little journey on Valentines Day 2015 and here we are.
What are the lessons learned from this year? Do I know more about my camera and lenses....Yes. Do I care as much about the technical aspects of photography.....Probably not. But the most important thing is, the best camera is the one you have with you. It's the camera that causes you to "get out of the car" (as my friend Libey says) and actually take risks and have some experiences. I have TOTALLY done that.
I know my 3 fans (2 of those are my parents) are dying to know....WILL YOU STILL BLOG?!! Of course. I just don't have to be committed to trying to take a picture every day....which clearly I wasn't that tied down to 365. :) I am still committed to taking pictures as much as I can and sharing as much as I can with family, friends and whoever wants to see them. Thank you all for your sweet patience with this little journey and of course there is more to come.
A note about my final post, I felt like I couldn't do my final post in my house, of my dogs, or in my yard. So I drove to a nearby lake that I know I've photographed before. But I felt like the end of this challenge deserved to be done out in the beautiful world on a sticky July night just enjoying the beauty around. Until the next time my friends!
