Project 365 Day 105

One of the pups and I stopped by Shelter Gardens while we were out running errands, to take pictures of the beautiful late spring flowers.

Project 365 Day 104

Even on our way home today we managed to discover a couple of other oddities.  One is a shoe made of shoes.   I mean, what more explanation do you need.   The other is a land of miniatures and trains in someones front yard.   It wasn't exactly as advertised but again the unique expression and care were apparent in the work.

I had a great few days having adventures with one of my favorite people.  I was however, exceptionally glad to come home to the one who loves me most and whose love and support bring more inspiration than I could ever describe.  Happy weekend all.   xoxo - Kat

Project 365 Day 103 Part 2

After the graffiti wall we visited city garden and another sculpture park.  It's always inspiring to have beautiful weather to view beautiful art.

Project 365 Day 103 Part 1

I have to split these post up in to two.   The first is of the graffiti wall that we found down from the arch.  It was absolutely amazing.  This wall goes on for at least a mile.   It was such an interesting social commentary and artistic expression, I just have to give it it's own dedicated blog.  We found this through Roadside America.  It's a website/app that is for those who want to get off the beaten path while traveling and see new and different things.

It's clear from the wall that any joe schmo with a spray can is not welcome here.  This is for serious artists and I think it's policed as such.  There are still random sprays up there with funny and/or interesting things written.  The artistry, the talent and the spirit that is alive in this art is humbling.
