This morning I was doing some final research and prep for my photo session this afternoon and got these of the dogs while hanging on the deck.

Doing a lot of dog pictures this week.  I'm taking some family photos this week for my friends and their toddler.  What's closest to photographing and wrangling a toddler.....well of course, photographing and wrangling 4 dogs.

Though were missing the bright colors of fall because it's been so dry still managed to get some foliage and the beautiful sunset at home.

This guy.  The first fur kid M and I got together.  He's super sweet, super sensitive and sometimes just a crazy nut.  I love him so.

We have a tradition most weekends of giving the dogs a special treat of soft food on Sundays.  Of course they absolutely love it.  The humans also got a treat of delicious beer bread that M made to go with our turnip and potato soup he made.  Sometimes Sundays are for splurging.

Today Mr. Sheldon and I went to a local brewery where they were having a fundraiser for rescue animals.  We bought super soft t-shirts, took a growler of beer home to share with Daddy and met some new friends, a great dane named Gracie and a retriever named Freddy.  Got home just in time to start the Royals game and watch another W.  Solid Saturday.

As those of you on FB know, Hubs and I watched game 1 of the ALCS last night in our driveway, on our laptop with the firepit, drinks and good food.

Everyone should watch a sporting event or movie or something they love like this.  We had such a great time.   Also we were living our own Christmas song last night.  We got chestnuts in our farm box this week so we LITERALLY had chestnuts roasting on an open fire.   If you haven't had this....you should.  They are delicious.

I realize regularly how lucky I am to have amazing people in my life, but the one I get to be married to, he's the best.

Project 365 Day 216

Snapped a few of Hubs in the backyard playing ball with the dogs.  The problem is the dogs were too fast for me to catch in the pictures.  Lucky for me Eleanor is lazy and just rolls around in the grass.

I'm such a slacker!!!  These pictures have been in the camera for nearly a week and I haven't posted.  I promise that though I may not get a picture every day, this week I will be more committed to at least taking them and not letting them sit around.

Last weekend one of my favorite people in all the world came to stay with us.  On Sunday we drove to Cooper's Landing to drop the Hubs off for a bike ride.  M and I walked on the trail and took some pictures on a really beautiful fall day.  I wish we would have gotten more rain because I feel like the leaves are a little dull this year, but still no doubt my favorite time of year.  Also a bonus that I get to spend it with people I love.

We went to Rocheport Friday night to celebrate our anniversary.  We ate a fantastic restaurant called Abigail's.  The food was delicious, the company was even better.  I am extraordinarily blessed to get to share my life with such an amazing human.

On the way to eat I stopped at the vineyard to take some photos of the same row I had photographed back in the winter.
