I worked at home today. For some reason Sheldon was extra crazy today. I swear I threw the tennis ball for every line of case file I read today. So after work I took him on a really long trail walk and he loved it. These two pictures are of him swimming and splashing in the creek. M and I are making a trip to Kansas City this weekend to see Billy Joel in concert, eat great food, and spend time with a good friend. I know I'll find some great pictures to take along the way.

Some cuties of the cuties tonight. If you ever feel like no one loves you, please come to my house, these 4 will make you feel like it's been FOREVER since they've seen you and they love you SO much.
I will hold PERFECTLY still if you hold up a ball while taking a picture mom. |

Project 365 Day 73
Tonight I got to see my beautiful niece play in her last orchestra concert in high school. She is beautiful, smart and super talented and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
Project 365 Day 72
I got to have lunch with some good friends yesterday, and of course their handsome, sweet boy, Mr. L. He was loving his time on the swing. He's getting bigger and bigger and has LOTS to say.
Project 365 Day 71
Sorry, sorry, sorry, I know I said I wouldn't forget to blog for several days in a row, but I did it again...but at least I have pictures to show for it. For this post I edited my pictures in pic monkey as opposed to Lightroom, my old standby. Just wanted to try something new.
Saturday morning Guinness and I hit the trail and I got a picture of a turtle we ran in to. I also attempted to get a picture of Guinness but he absolutely would NOT face me. Guess he was teaching me how to deal with difficult, stubborn subjects.
Saturday night I went out to celebrate the birthday of a good friend. The third picture is of her wearing the light up necklace one of our other friends got her. This picture was taken right before we went in to play BINGO. That's right, we totally old-ladied it up and loved every minute.
All in all a fantastic Saturday. Adventures all around.

Project 365 Day 70
I was actually in the yard trying to get action photos of the dogs, but absolutely NONE of them turned out. SO.... the ones that did turn out were these pictures of the clouds rolling in. It's supposed to be a rainy day tomorrow but I still hope to find a few dry moments to hit the trail with the pups and get some pictures.
Project 365 Day 69
I had a pretty long day yesterday. I spent the evening at a dinner with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and my niece....should have taken the camera. I figured it would be cheating if I took pictures with my phone.
When I came home however, the long awaited chalkboard frame was waiting for me. M bought me some chalkboard paint for Christmas and I bought some wood and painted it to hang on the large wall in our dining room. After M started doing his woodworking projects he agreed to make me a frame for my chalkboard. This masterpiece emerged. It's a picket fence frame made from reclaimed wood. I love it so much. I can't wait to snap pictures of the finished product which will have some other touches added to the wall.
I'm so glad that my husband has found such joy in creating with woodworking. I'm also glad that he's really good at it.

Project 365 Day 68
Guinness and I headed to one of the many trails our area has to offer tonight for some sunshine and exercise. He did think the creek water was a little too cold for his maximum enjoyment but other than that we had a great time.
I like to sniff all the things...oh and then pee on them. |

Project 365 Day 67
I worked from home today, so after being cooped up in the house all day, I went for a drive before dinner and captured some more beautiful images of Spring. I'm hoping to make it back to my vineyard one of these days to catch the spring images of the vines I took in winter.
