When we moved from the big city of Des Moines to a small town in Iowa when I was 12, I thought it was the end of the world. There was nothing to do there. In fact we used to joke around that a big time in that town on the weekend was going to the car wash and Dairy Queen. Well as my parents prepare in the next year to move from this small town in Kansas closer to me (that's the good part) I have to say I will miss this quaint little town with the Wizard of Oz museum and themes, with restaurants like Toto's Tacoz. So this weekend when I was home I took a trip to the car wash and snapped a photo of the main street of small town USA.
