Project 365 Day 26

You thought I would have quit by now, didn't you?  Honestly....me too.  But I'm happy to say I'm still loving taking pictures, I'm just worried that I will have enough inspiration and courage to get through all 365 days.

Today was a bit of a struggle.  My day started off crappy because I got yelled at (literally) at work for holding a door open for someone.  I really was trying to be kind, but apparently my type of kindness did NOT work for her.   I know that's about her and not about me, but it just wasn't the right tone to set the day.

I didn't feel like stopping anywhere on my way home, so I thought I would take some more pictures at home and play with some of the features that I haven't used on the camera.   Doing all this did make me smile.  It's been a good day.  I worked out first thing this morning, went to a job that is really great and supportive and most importantly I came home to house full of love.   Hope you enjoy the pictures and the explanations.  xoxo- Kat

This is my "sugar" bowl where the Truvia for my coffee is stored.  Hubs bought it for me off of Etsy.  The person who sold it lives in Estonia.  Worlds slowest shipping, but oh so cute.

This is the view looking in to my Chemex which makes my coffee.  If you don't know I love coffee.  Scratch that... I LOVE coffee.  We ditched our Keurig last year and got this and it simply makes the BEST coffee I've ever had.   And it's not a machine, just put in the filter (which is compostable) and then pour boiling water over the grounds.  Delish.

So the Hubs and I collect magnets.  Our fridge is nearly completely covered in them.

I was pretty happy with how this turned out using the blurred background feature on the camera.  Of course I have very little clue how to use this contraption, but I do love having it because it allows the Hubs to make me delicious food.  Can't go wrong.

Sometime this year the W (which could be for wine or our last name) will be filled up.  I like wine just a little less than I like coffee.   Don't judge me, wine is heart healthy.

Okay I know my vacuum is dusty and gross but if you lived on a gravel road and had 4 dogs in your house, your vacuum would have seen it's better days too.   We just replaced the HEPA filter on it but the filter wouldn't stay in.  How did we overcome that?  By using KU duct tape of course.

That's me and PupPup (aka Porthos).  We were learning to use the timer on the camera.
