Project 365/Day 15 - Home on the Range

The second day of my trip proved to be a little difficult in getting some of the shots of the Flint Hills that I wanted.  The Flint Hills are an area in the east central part of Kansas.  Kansas is notoriously known for being flat and boring....well that occurs AFTER the Flint Hills.   We did make it out to explore a little.  The first photos are of my parents backyard and then the second set are from a snowy scenic overlook where we stopped and the third set are from the beautiful campus of Kansas State University.  Though I am not a "fan" of the school, it is truly a beautiful campus with many buildings made from the native stone of the area.

There is a mysterious person in a black coat in one of the pictures.  That person has not given their consent to have their face or name shared on the blog at this time, so for now you can just enjoy the coat.  Even though it was a snowy, windy day, it was still beautiful to get out and explore and more importantly to spend time with people I love.  xoxo
